Marc Claussen
Vice President, Business Excellence & Customer Experience

Marc Claussen is Vice President of Business Excellence and Customer Experience at Chiesi USA, where he oversees the company’s analytics, operations, PMO, and customer research functions. Mr. Claussen joined Chiesi as director of market access in 2013 and has been instrumental in the health economics, pricing, contracting, and payer strategies for Chiesi USA therapeutic brands, contributing significantly to commercial success. Mr. Claussen previously led Chiesi National Accounts, Strategic Business Liaison, Health Economic & Value Specialist, and Managed Market teams. He is an active member of the Chiesi Global Market Access team collaborating on Market Access strategy across all Chiesi affiliates. Prior to joining the company, he held multiple leadership roles in sales, managed markets, and national accounts with Nuvo Research, Inc., BusinessOne Technologies, Alpharma, and Watson Pharmaceuticals.

 

Mr. Claussen volunteers at Teeter Organic Farm, providing fresh produce to local food pantries. Additionally, he is a member of ISPOR and AMCP.

 

Mr. Claussen holds a BS in Secondary Education from the University of Evansville with a post graduate certificate in health economics and outcomes research from University of Washington.
